Adoption/ Guardianship Unit
The goal of the Adoption/Guardianship program is to ensure that all Chippewa County children whose parents’ rights were terminated are placed in a permanent adoptive home in a timely manner.

Adult Mental Health
The Adult Mental Health Unit provides case management and community support services to Chippewa County adults with a serious and persistent mental illness.

Adult Protection
he Adult Protective Services Unit, as an agent of the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services, is authorized to investigate the abuse, neglect, and exploitation of an elderly or disabled person, who resides in a community setting, and to provide protective services and community support to that person.

Chemical Health Services
Chippewa County Family Services provides funding determination for those eligible for Behavioral Health Funds to cover the costs of treatment services. Learn more about how this process is completed.

The Chippewa County Child Care Licensor provides information on how to become a licensed family child care provider, and is responsible for licensing and monitoring all licensed family child care programs in Chippewa County.
