Victim / Witness Program

Crime victims have rights to protection from harm, to participate in the prosecution process, to request restitution, to seek help, and more.  Email the Victim & Witness Advocacy office if you need help at Victim.Advocacy@Chippewa.MN.

The duties of the Chippewa County Victim/Witness Program are:

  • Balancing your rights as a victim.
  • Serving victims and witnesses of crime in Chippewa County, Minnesota.
  • Providing:
    • Community education
    • Criminal court assistance
    • Criminal justice support/advocacy
    • Financial assistance
    • Legal advocacy
    • Referrals
